Kindergarten Science Experiments

Kindergarten are investigating How do the observable properties of materials affect their use? Earlier in the week we investigated which material, either wool or rubber, would be waterproof by pouring water into gloves. We found that wool is porous and rubber is waterproof. We needed this knowledge to help Dr. Alana Wylie on Thursday. She had lost all of the lids to her test tubes! The students each explored different materials to make a waterproof lid for their test tube. Thank you Dr. Wylie for letting us keep our test tubes so we can continue our investigations at home!
